About Nikia Hunt

Nikia has always had an active imagination as well as an affinity for literature. 

These traits evolved into a passion for both writing and teaching. 

Nikia has been writing for as long as she can remember and has been teaching English Language Arts since 2015. 

A graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Master's degree in English with an emphasis in creative writing, Nikia has recently focused more strongly on developing her professional writing career.

Additionally, Nikia has been involved in the Pikes Peak Writers in the role of Sponsorship Coordinator since January of 2020, has been published in several trade publications and educational journals, and will be published in the "Fresh Starts" Anthology in winter of 2021.
